This past weekend on September 28th it was the annual parent’s weekend at Western Kentucky University. With all of the stereotypes about Greek Life and negative stories in the news, it can be easy for parents to gain a negative perception about Greek Life as a whole. At KY Delta we love this weekend because it gives us a chance to show our brothers’ parents how Greek Life actually is now and show the positive impact that it has on not only our brothers but the community as well. We invited all of our brothers’ parents to one of our satellite houses near campus and served a light breakfast to all of them and talked about all of the great accomplishments we have had as a chapter in the past year. After breakfast we all attended the Western Kentucky University football game together, and we were fortunate enough to cap off a great day with a Hilltoppers win. We had a great time with all of our brothers’ parents this weekend and are already looking forward to next year’s parent’s weekend!
