After a year of hard work, we finished off the year by winning both the Reed Morgan and Scott Taylor chapter achievement awards! Despite all of the challenges we had to overcome, we won all eight awards. Sigma Phi Epsilon was announced many times throughout the night which truly shows how this was one of the most successful years in Kentucky Delta’s history.
We did not only win awards as a chapter, our brothers won many awards as individuals.
Brother Noah Moore won Greek Man of the Year.
Brother Luke Wininger won Outstanding New Member.
Our Advisor, David Serafini, won the Randy Bracey Outstanding Advisor Award.
Brothers Carlos Gomez, Nathaniel Hoey, Anthony Itzol, Clay Lilla, Mason Whistle were all inducted into the Greek Hall of Fame.
We were the only fraternity to win all eight of the awards. We won the alumni development award, outstanding intramural award, outstanding new member program, philanthropic service award, scholastic achievement award, campus involvement and leadership award, chapter development award, and the Greek involvement award.
Winning every award earned us Scott Taylor, but we also had the most awards of any fraternity which earned us Reed Morgan, the award for best fraternity on campus.
Not only were we successful in chapter achievement awards, we brought home many awards for Greek week. After a great week, we finished in overall third place.
We finished in first place in events day.
We finished in first place in Greek jeopardy.
We finished in first place in canstruct.
We finished in fourth place for spring sing.
Even though it was a tough year with the COVID-19 pandemic, we overcame everything to show how we are the best chapter on campus.
